The outdoor basketball court is well maintained, well lit & new lines were painted in 2019. Follow the court on Instagram @cbc.hoops to find out about upcoming tournaments and to someone to shoot with.
The basketball court, playground, volleyball court and soccer field is available for use by anyone in the community until 9pm. It is available on a first come, first serve bases for pick up games but can be reserved for practices, games or tournaments by calling the church office at 770-977-2058 in advance. It is a USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please read all signs before playing.
Our campus also boasts the best play ground in East Cobb. The playground includes: six slides, a rock wall, zip line, bridge, multiple ladders, firehouse pole, monkey bars, four swings and a punching bag. We also have three family size picnic tables where parents can sit and rest while they watch their children play.
The garden was built in 2019. Our hope is to provide fresh vegetables to supplement our food pantry ministry & to use as fresh pizza toppings for the outdoor pizza oven which will be built in the near future.
The garden is organic & we will be adding rain barrels for watering.
The garden features eight 4x4 sections available for planting. We invite the community to care for one or more sections.
Our business network focuses on good, old fashion networking and tasty, fair-trade coffee. Our meetings involves learning from one another through brief presentations, inspirational leadership advice and ample networking time. We value three things: stewardship (of our God given time, talents & gifts), human dignity (all people were created in God's image and therefore, matter) and joy (we were created for work and work should be fun).
If you live or work in East Cobb, Marietta, and North Fulton, we encourage you to join. This group is for business people interested in finding joy at work and networking in a positive environment.
Our meetings occur at 7:30am, on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
Chattahoochee Baptist Church was founded in 1884 and started in a little brush arbor on the side of a narrow dirt road called Johnson Ferry. Although we are now the beautiful brick church on the side of the road, our historic past still lends itself to offering the quaint, intimate Christ-centered atmosphere that will help make your wedding day everything you dreamed it would be!
Our beautiful sanctuary is a picturesque setting with a traditional altar, suited perfectly for daylight or candlelight weddings and can accommodate 150-200 guests. Our Fellowship Hall is available for receptions. We offer an on-site Bridal Suite for you and your bridal party as well as a Groom’s room. A dedicated wedding coordinator will be on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly. Ample parking and wheel-chair access are available.
We would be honored for our history to be a part of the beginning of your history in a life-long, Bible-based marriage. May God bless you as you embark on this exciting journey.
