Be on the team that receives families in need of emergency food assistance. Meet them for their pick-up appointment, spend some time getting to know them, and praying for them.
Twice a year we offer special holiday dinner boxes and a turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Volunteers love meeting families and providing these special food boxes.
Volunteers also help organize the food pantry, pick-up food boxes from the Storehouse distribution center, and help pack food boxes there.
StoreHouse Ministry food donation bins are located throughout the building where you can donate nonperishable items. We accept almost anything as long as it is not expired. Feel free to drop items off at your convenience. See list of items needed below.
We hold an annual StoreHouse Ministry food drive as one of our monthly DEEDS community serve projects to help restock the distribution center. Like most of our DEEDS, we involve the whole community to help out by collecting items from around the neighborhood.
Drop off any of these items in one of two donation bins conveniently located in the foyer and downstairs hallway.
