We partner with JMA Ministries in Clarkston, GA to help Burmese refugees hear the gospel. Every October, our community collects winter coats, jackets, hats, gloves, diapers, baby wipes, & 25 lbs bags of Jasmine rice to donate to newly landed families.
We have a storage unit on our campus where we collect and store furniture items for this ministry.
If you would like to help or have items to donate, please let us know by calling (770) 977-2058 to make arrangements for drop-off or pick-up.
52% of the population of Toronto is born outside the country. This makes it truly a country of immigrants. We partner with a local urban church plant in downtown Toronto called Rendezvous Church. We have committed to pray for the church plant, send annual mission teams and provide monthly financial support.
We are all called to go on mission. For those unable to go, you can still support from home.
Students for Hire (November-May) Need some help with your yard or around your house? You set the price, our students do the work. Then you make a donation on their behalf for the mission. All proceeds you donate go to support Toronto Mission.
Pray Commit to pray for a single member, or the whole team. Make sure to let us know if you are praying for us, it is a great source of encouragement as very much appreciated!
Ways to pray: Reach financial goal, safe travels, team unity and fluidity, the people of Toronto, the people we will meet and Rendezvous Church. Ask the team for any more prayer concerns.
Donate online to support our mission. Checks payable to CBC, designate Toronto Missions in the Memo. All donation are greatly appreciated and no amount is too small!
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization whose mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
It’s that time of year again! Chattahoochee Baptist Church needs your help to contribute to our annual Operation Christmas Child event!
This will be our 5th year participating and we are very excited to contribute to the cause each year as a congregation.
Our 2024 shoebox goal is a total of 35 boxes.
Option 1- Please feel free to fill your shoebox at the church and simply drop off your filled shoebox back to Chattahoochee Baptist Church by November 17, 2024. Find out how to pack your own shoebox here.
Option. 2- Build a shoebox online! Want to contribute to the cause directly from your own home? You can now create a shoebox digitally from your computer, and the company will create the box at their distribution facilities based on the your requests.
