Why Friendsgiving for Widows and Their Children?
Losing a spouse can be an incredibly challenging and isolating experience. Our Friendsgiving event aims to provide a safe and welcoming space where widows and their children can connect with others who understand their journey. It's a day to share stories, offer and receive support, and most importantly, to celebrate the love and strength that binds us together.
What to Expect:
A Delicious Feast: Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. We've got a feast that will warm your hearts and fill your bellies.
Activities for All Ages: We've prepared a range of activities for children and adults alike. From crafts and games for the little ones to therapeutic discussions and relaxation sessions for adults, there's something for everyone.
Supportive Community: Connect with others who have walked a similar path. Share experiences, gain insights, and build lasting friendships in a supportive environment.
Gratitude Circle: A special moment to reflect on the things we're thankful for. Together, we'll express gratitude for the strength, resilience, and unity that binds us.

Widow Stronger
Welcome to a community for women who have successfully completed GriefShare and are seeking connections with fellow widows to provide mutual encouragement and support. The first year the group works through 180 Your Life small group material. We offer steady and enjoyable grief support for widows and their children, along with a variety of monthly in-person events and workshops designed to help widowed families.

Imagine 180 Your Life as a unique blend of Grief Share, the Daniel Plan, and a video Bible study. It stands out from other grief programs by combining scientifically proven PTSD strategies with Biblical healing approaches for holistic recovery after a traumatic loss. This fresh and healthy grief guide, based on the 180 Your Life Eight-Step Program, empowers readers to create a purposeful life they cherish and transform their loss into a legacy of hope for themselves and their loved ones.
